The new Batman-show Gotham, which will air on Netflix in 2015 has just been extended with another six episodes, so the first season now contains a total of 22 episodes.
From the beginning, only 16 episodes were planned for the first season, but after good reviews from both viewers and critics Gotham has been extended with the extra episodes. In total 14 million have seen the Gotham pilot episode.
It is not Netflix that has produced the new Batman-show, but the streaming service have bought the distribution rights so Gotham will come to Netflix shortly after it has aired in the US.
